Throughout the summer of 2026, I curated a film club for Eidolon Centre at Cirko-Gejzír, Europe’s smallest and coolest independent cinema, in Budapest.

Before each screening, we presented a newly produced video essay offering some context for the film, its historical background and the wider questions surrounding it. I made two of these myself: one on Palestinian documentarist Emad Burnat’s 5 Broken Cameras, and another on Chantal Akerman’s final film, No Home Movie.

You can watch both video essays below with English subtitles.

As part of Eidolon Centre’s conference series, in 2025 and 2026 I co-organized two public events: one at The Photographers’ Gallery and another at the University of Westminster.

Both events brought together artists, researchers and cultural practitioners for lectures, presentations and roundtable discussions on photography and visual culture. Recordings of the full programmes are available on YouTube: watch the first event and the second event.

In recent years, I have conducted a number of video interviews for the Hungarian art publication Artmagazin. Two of my recent conversations featured artist and poet Anna Zilahi and visual artist Rita Süveges, discussing their practices.
